The covid pandemic taught us that easy and simple precautions can help immensely to help check the spread of any illness, but a pandemic or the common cold. As Jesus cared for those most in need, we too look to ways that we can help prevent the most vulnerable among us from contracting deadly viruses. Our regulations are the following:
- Masking: We continue to monitor levels of transmission of covid in Onondaga county as per the CDC. If the county is in low levels, masking is optional; if levels are medium, masking is recommended; if levels are high, masking is strongly recommended.
- We are receiving the Eucharist in both kinds: the Body and the Blood. Diocesan regulations require that the Blood is received by minister-intinction only. When you come forward for Communion, indicate whether you wish the priest to intinct the wafer (by looking at the chalice), to receive only the Body (look down or at the priest), or to be blessed (cross your arms across your chest).
- Any outside group that meets at the church building must follow church regulations as well as their own organization's regulations (if applicable).
- If you are sick or uncomfortable attending in-person, please take a look at our online offerings found by clicking here.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our parish administrator or rector.
