WELCOME TO CHRIST CHURCH

WELCOME TO CHRIST CHURCHWELCOME TO CHRIST CHURCH

Our priest - the Reverend Tim Hannon

A bit about Father Tim

Father Tim Hannon grew up in the farmland and rolling hills of central New Jersey. God spoke to him through the beauty of nature and literature, and he considers a good trail or a good book holy places where we can meet God. Father Tim has lived in various parts of the country (most recently Oregon) and abroad in Japan. His first and continuing vocation is teaching, which he brings to his work as a priest at Christ Church. He is married to Helene (also our Children's Education Director), and is father to two young children, Gwendolyn and Fiona.

Favorite Book of the Bible: John's Gospel, Job, and Jonah

Favorite Book: Lord of the Rings

Dream job: chaplain on a starship (though he's a little claustrophobic so maybe not such a good idea...)

Best hiking spot: Crater Lake in Oregon or Mt. Fuji in Japan

Music of choice: Japanese rock, post-rock, and Gregorian chant

Favorite animal: Owls and dragons

Best dessert: cheesecake (yum!)

Most pressing ministry in our day: depression and suicide (especially among teens)
