WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS
If you are planning a wedding or a funeral at Christ Church we have helpful guidelines available to assist you in that process. Before planning anything, please consult the Rector who, according to the Canons of the Episcopal Church, has “full authority and responsibility for the conduct of the worship and the spiritual jurisdiction of the Parish….” From choosing a date to considering who might participate, it is important that you speak with Father Tim first. If you would like to have organ or piano music, please know that we abide by the guidelines of the American Guild of Organists, which state that the musician who serves at the church “should be utilized at all weddings and funerals held within the church. The services of another organist may be used only with permission of the regular organist.” We are delighted to work with you to celebrate important life events in these special worship services.
