On Sunday, March 3 Doug Mouncey of Cristosal will be our guest speaker at announcements at both services and will give a presentation following the 10:15 a.m. service. According to their website, “Cristosal works to advance human rights in Central America through rights-based research, learning, and programming. We accompany victims of violence to provide protection when they need it most, repair the lingering effects of human rights violations, and build human rights frameworks to create conditions where peace is possible.” Doug is a member of St. Paul’s in Syracuse and is the Treasurer for Cristosal. Noah Bullock, former Christ Church member and son of former Christ Church Rector Michael Bullock, is the Executive Director of Cristosal.
Join us each Friday in Lent for a Fish Fry serving from 4-7 pm. Feel free to eat in or take out.
Meals consist of fish, fries and cole slaw all for $11.
First date is March 8th and runs through April 12.
During Lent we will hold a Taizé worship service on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Taizé is a style of worship that is quiet, meditative and prayerful. Simple music, scripture readings, prayers, and candlelight set a thoughtful tone. Taizé is an ecumenical community in France which draws people from all over the world for shared worship and work while living in community. Taizé services will begin on Sunday, March 10 and will be offered through Sunday, April 7. They are wonderful as a Lenten discipline or as a time to invite people who might not be comfortable with more structured, formal church services, or for whom Sunday mornings do not work.
Christ Church t-shirts are available for sale at coffee hour and in the office. They come in sizes S, M and L for $10 and 2XL for $12. Get yours before they are gone!

Pat B. is collecting gently used shoes, used eyeglasses and hearing aids for the Pompey Lions Club. The shoes will be sent to Waterstep, a project to provide shoes for adults and children and clean water for people around the world. There is a collection bin for all items in Crosby Hall. Thank you for your contributions.
