This Year's Pageant offered a fresh telling of the Miracle of Christmas from the Present Day.  A significant collaborative effort, coupled with Shawn & Debbie's prodigious talents as musicians and teachers, inspired us all.  The children were truly committed to their presentation.  They made the story especially poignant.  We are fortunate to experience such very beautiful young voices.  The children were inspired to really work hard and it showed.

Dress Rehearsal

A lot of preparation produced a very special evening Thursday night as everyone worked on one last run through.

At the end of the Rehearsal, Shawn offered guidance and encouragement to the children before breaking for the evening.  Despite the excitement (after all tomorrow was Christmas Eve) the Children were attentive and involved in working together on their faith adventure.

The Pageant

The Story of Christmas was told from Grandfather's House.  It seemed that one of his grandchildren did not want to attend Christmas Eve Services.  Presents awaited.  Grandpa, with the wisdom of his years, gently embarked upon a telling of the Story of Christmas.  As he did so, the Story unfolded around them.

Several of the Children sang beautiful solos as part of telling the Story.

More of Grandpa's family came to take everyone to Christmas Eve services.  They stopped to hear what Grandpa was saying.

And together we all experienced the joy and beauty of Christmas as told by the children.
